Woolly Planter - Xtra Large ( pack of 2 ) Recycled Wool
Use of Xtra Large Wool Pots
Large wool pots are practical, breathable containers commonly used for growing trees, shrubs, and larger plants, they allow air to reach the root zone and encourage air pruning, where root tips stop growing when they reach the side of the pot. This helps create a denser, healthier root system rather than roots circling as they can in solid plastic pots. Their generous size provides room for plants with larger root systems, making them suitable for fruit trees, natives, vegetables, and specimen plants. Wool pots can also offer useful insulation, helping protect roots from sudden temperature changes, while their breathable construction supports drainage and reduces the risk of waterlogging. Place them on a level surface with good drainage, use a quality potting mix, and water regularly, as fabric pots may dry out faster than rigid containers in warm or windy conditions.
Ideal for larger plants, shrubs, or small trees, these planters offer both style and practicality.
